Terminal running a Python script that checks one seller's feedback across four Amazon marketplaces

Amazon Seller Feedback API: Checking One Seller Across Marketplaces

Amazon seller feedback by marketplace: /amazon-seller-review takes one sellerId and one marketplaceId per call, so checking a seller across DE, FR, IT and ES costs 4 credits, and a 404 on one marketplace is billed like a real answer, not a failure. A tested Python script builds a per-marketplace feedback table and shows what a billed 404 for no storefront looks like next to three normal answers.

Validate an Amazon Seller ID Before You Call the Billing API

/amazon-seller-review only rejects a blank sellerId; every other bad value, from a Buy Box placeholder to Amazon's own ID, reaches the seller lookup as a billed 404. A client-side check against the real seller ID shape and Amazon's own first-party IDs catches those before they cost a credit, tested against a fake HTTP layer with the real helper modules.

Amazon Offers API: Why len(offers) Is Not the Seller Count

/amazon-product-offers returns one row per offer, not one row per seller: a seller selling the same ASIN via FBA and FBM, or in two conditions, gets two rows. Dedupe offers on sellerId, deliveryDate, condition and fulfillmentType, then count the distinct sellerId values, to get the real seller count for a listing.
